Mattel Toys has introduced a cool little gadget that will have your dog paying for himself in no time at all. Not that we need payback from our dogs, at least not in cash anyway, their unconditional love is worth every dime we spend on dog food, as is every penny spent on dog accessories and vet bills. But wouldn't it be cool if ol Fido (in my case, Duke) himself could contribute toward the family bottom line?

Do you have any doubt for one minute that if your dog thought he could make you some cash, he wouldn't?, man, they LOVE us! Well, now they can really show their appreciation by using social media the way it was supposed to be used – showing the lazy among us how making money online is so easy that a dog can do it.

This new toy called Puppy Tweets may just be a way for your dog to make money online! Those crazy Mattel toy scientists have spent way too much time on Twitter, I guess it was inevitable that they come up with Puppy Tweets, social media for dogs.

According to our friends at Google there were approximately 2.2 million searches in the month of October for the keywords/search terms,  "dog food." Which prompted me to ask, do that many pet dog owners not know what to feed their dog? Are they searching for a better brand of dog food? Are they looking for better prices for dog food? Are dog supplies limited in the place where they live or do they just prefer shopping at an online pet store for their pet food needs? I decided to do a little research and see just what it is that dog owners are looking for in the way of dog food.

2.2 million searches for dog food is a lot of people online during a one-month stretch looking at various brands and types of dog food. I know what my dog likes to eat, don't you? What are all these people looking for? There will be another 2.2 million searches for dog food in November, December, January, February… you get the idea, a LOT of searches for dog food. Just how many kinds of dog food are there? Do dog foods follow any kind of trends? I would like the answers to these questions, not just because I am a curious person or dog lover but because it would help me target my audience and help narrow their search, not just for dog food but for pet supplies in general. Instead give them some healthy doggy treats while the kids are sitting around with their night's haul. And when those trick-or-treaters come to the door, one after another, it might be a good idea to put your dog away in a bedroom or even a crate till all the craziness is over. Or better yet, dress em up in their own Halloween costume and take them out on Halloween night!

My boy Duke here barks at everyone who comes to the door, whether they ring the bell or not. It can drive you crazy on Halloween night.
