When you chose a dog food make sure it doesn’t have any animal bi-products and you should be fine. I would check with your vet to see if your breed requires any suppliments and if so what. This way you are maxing your dogs health without maxing your budget. My vet says Science Diet is crap dog food so I don’t use it. She recommends the Nutro, so I use it. I have heard that Science diet sells to vets for cheaper than pet stores so vets make a larger profit but I have no proof of that (a vet told me this). Good luck. I feed Nutro. They like eating dry kibble too, but we only feed them that if we have nothing else to give them at the time. Our parents’ dogs are always given leftover food (rice, sauce, chicken bones, etc.).
