Love Means Never Having To Say Goodbye To Your Pet!

To Clone Your Dog Or Not

Have you got the perfect dog and more money than you know what to do with? A Mill Valley, CA-based biotech startup called Bioarts is going to be auctioning five dog cloning services to the public. They have successfully created three clones of a Border Collie mix named Missy who passed away in 2002. To find out more or to see if you qualify for the auction check out the full article here.

Personally, I don't really have a problem with the process itself, if God allows man to acquire the knowledge to do things like this I guess they were made to happen. I can console myself with the thought that this cloning thing serves to expand the frontiers of science for man's benefit. However, I sure wish they would call it something less threatening than "cloning." When I hear that term all I can think of is the look on the face of Donald Sutherland when the aliens finally get him at the end of the movie, Invasion of the Body Snatchers.

    Hello,
I came across your site and thought I would approach you regarding a project I am presently working on. I have recently released a CD dedicated to animal lovers and their pets. My sister and I have written songs about our precious creatures, and these are based on true stories, some funny, some humorous, some sad, as welll as the love and care that pets provide and require. Our main objective is to help in raising funds to support animal shelters in such dire need thru the sale of this CD.

We have a common interest in the welfare of animals and for this reason I would so value any support you could give me, such as adding my website as a link to your site in the hopes of generating interest and support from the public in our efforts to help animal shelters, and perhaps write an article on our mission. Please visit my website at http://www.odetoanimalshelters.com
I look forward to hearing from you and I thank you so very much for your time.
    Cheers
    Rae
